Radiation tolerant endoscopes are available in diameters from around 3mm to 10mm, or more and can be rigid, or flexible devices.
For higher radiation levels the smallest fibre is 10K pixels which requires a larger bending radius.
Other typical hostile environments include, extremes of temperature or pressure, inflammable or corrosive liquids and gases.
